The Health and Medical Geography Specialty Group (HMGSG) of the American Association of Geographers offered the Melinda S. Meade Graduate Student Travel Award for the virtual AAG Annual Meeting in April 2021. Zhiyue Xia, a CGIS PhD student, applied and was one of two students that receive the award to present her work at the meeting this April.
