USGIF recently awarded its highest amount of scholarship funds to date. Scholarships were awarded to 25 individuals studying GEOINT and related topics. Since the USGIF Scholarship Program began in 2004, the Foundation has awarded more than $1.3 million to students with aspirations in GEOINT. USGIF offers $5,000 scholarships annually to outstanding doctoral candidates, graduate students, and undergraduate students as well as $2,000 scholarships to graduating high school seniors.
The Master's of Science program had two students, Kylie Tokar (GIS) and Madeleine Guy (GEOINT), selected to receive scholarships this year. Both women have submitted papers to the GEOINTegration Summit taking place September 27 & 28, 2019 in Herndon, VA.
