The Center is excited to continue its support of Geography Awareness Week. The week long event will take place November 15 - 21, 2020 this year and involves events around the world. The theme this year is Geoliteracy for a Complex Time. Originally, this event was started by National Geographic to promote awareness for geography education and celebrate geography in everyday life. CGIS will continue its tradition of hosting lightning talks on GIS Day, as well as added events this year. Zoom and WebEx links can be accessed through listserv emails.
