The EASIER Data Initiative is organizing a Workshop on Open Geospatial Science and the Decentralized Web, focusing on the nexus between geospatial science, open science practices, and the decentralized web to better understand the current state-of-the-art and how these three areas can come together to imagine possible future pathways for the next generation of open geospatial science . This will be a 1.5-day event held within the Department of Geographical Sciences in the University of Maryland's Discovery District. The event will consist of presentations, lightning talks, discussion sessions, and networking opportunities.
