Abstract
In this talk, I will present a view of multiscale analytics through the lenses of my core concepts of spatial information. These seven concepts organize spatial questions by information content (fields, objects, networks, events) and information quality (granularity, accuracy, provenance). Multiscale analyses pose questions centering on the concept of granularity, which is arguably the quintessential idea underlying all spatial thinking and computing.
