Prof. Kathleen Stewart (CGIS, GEOG), Junchuan Fan (CGIS Asst Res Prof), and Prof. Deb Neimeier (MTI, CEE) have been awarded an NSF RAPID grant to use location-based big-data to model people's mobility patterns during the COVID-19 outbreak. The team will explore new methods for tracking changes in mobility that have occurred during the COVID-19 pandemic using big data sourced from location-based apps.
